| Obverse description | Bust of the Satrap king facing right, rendered in the degraded Hellenistic tradition typical of Western Satraps coinage. The effigy displays the ruler's profile with characteristic headdress or diadem, with the regnal date inscribed in the field behind the head. A blundered and largely illegible Greek legend surrounds the portrait, derived from earlier Hellenistic formulaic inscriptions but heavily degenerated through successive copying. The fabric is irregular and the strike slightly off-center, consistent with hand-hammered production at regional mints. |
