| Obverse description | Bust of the king facing right, depicted with wavy hair rendered in stylized concentric lines, wearing a diadem and what appears to be a helmet or tiara with a prominent brow-guard. The bearded effigy is executed in a debased Hellenistic style characteristic of late Western Satrap coinage. A regnal date appears in the field behind the head. Partially legible, degraded Greek inscription runs around the periphery, ultimately derived from earlier Indo-Greek formulaic legends. |
