| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing left, rendered in fine late Classical style with naturalistic modeling. The deity wears a wreath of laurel leaves bound across the forehead, with long wavy hair swept back and falling in undulating locks behind the neck. The facial features are delicately executed, with a straight nose, slightly parted lips, and a serene, idealized expression. The field is plain, with no legend or additional devices. The flan is slightly irregular, characteristic of hand-struck Ionian silver coinage of the period. |
