Obverse description Bust of the Sasanian king (in the style of Khusro II) facing right, wearing a distinctive winged crown with a crescent and globe finial, within a double beaded border. The portrait retains the characteristic Sasanian artistic convention with elaborate crown details, ear pendants, and ribbons flowing from the diadem. Arabic inscription bismillah appears in the obverse margin, typical of Arab-Sasanian transitional coinage under the Umayyad administration.
