Obverse description Diademed and bearded royal bust facing left, adorned with a pellet-ended torque at the neck, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition characteristic of later Parthian coinage. The effigy displays fine detail in the treatment of the beard and hair beneath the diadem. The field is enclosed by a neat circular border composed of pellets.

Reverse description A beardless archer, identified as Arsaces, seated right upon a throne, dressed in a bashlyk headcover and cloak in the traditional Parthian manner. The figure holds a strung bow in the right hand, referencing the dynastic symbol of Arsacid authority. Below the bow appears a monogram in the field. The design is without a border and is accompanied by a seven-line Greek inscription filling the reverse field.
