Reverse description Arsaces I, the eponymous founder of the Arsacid dynasty, depicted seated in three-quarter view on an omphalos throne, holding a strung bow horizontally in his right hand, a dynastic symbol of Parthian sovereignty. The figure is rendered in the conventional Parthian style, facing right. A monogram appears beneath the bow in the lower field, serving as a mint or officina mark. The reverse legend in Greek encircles the design, proclaiming the royal titulature of the issuing king.
