Reverse description The enthroned archer type of the Arsacid royal coinage: Phraates III depicted as a seated archer on a square throne, facing right, holding a strung bow in his extended right hand. A monogram appears in the field below the bow. The reverse field is densely surrounded by a Greek legend in multiple lines, rendered in a somewhat degraded script characteristic of late Parthian mint production. A beaded border frames the entire design.
