Obverse description Youthful head of Heracles facing right, depicted beardless and wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress, with the scalp pulled over the crown and the paws knotted at the neck. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition, with finely detailed curling hair visible beneath the lion skin.
