Obverse description Draped bust of Narseh in right profile, wearing a distinctive mural crown surmounted by a prominent korymbos (hair bundle enclosed in a spherical diadem), with elaborate beaded necklace and earring visible. The king's beard is rendered in fine detail, and the hair falls in a layered, textured mass behind the head. A Pahlavi legend encircles the bust within a beaded border, reading the royal titulature of Narseh. The portrait displays the characteristic Sasanian royal iconography with high artistic refinement.

Reverse description A stepped fire altar occupies the center of the reverse field, with stylized flames rising from the altar top, flanked on either side by a standing royal attendant facing inward in a gesture of reverence. The fravahr (winged divine symbol) appears above the flames, and a taurus (bull) symbol is depicted in the field. A Pahlavi inscription runs around the periphery within a beaded border, recording the mint and regnal information consistent with Narseh's coinage.
