Reverse description A Zoroastrian fire altar with a ribbon or fillet tied to its shaft stands at center, surmounted by an upward-pointing crescent on the altar shaft, with flames rising from the altar cup. Two royal attendants flank the altar in profile, each holding a staff or sword; the attendant to the left wears a mural crown with korymbos, while the attendant to the right wears a plain crown also with korymbos. The scene is enclosed within a beaded border, with a Pahlavi mint and regnal legend in the surrounding field.
