Reverse description A Zoroastrian fire altar flanked by two attendants standing in profile, each facing the central altar, rendered in the standard Sasanian tradition inherited by Arab-Sasanian coinage. The altar is depicted with stepped base and flames rising from the top. Pahlavi mint and regnal date inscriptions appear in the fields to the left and right of the attendants. The entire design is enclosed within concentric dotted border rings.
