Obverse description Bust of Mithridates IV facing left, depicted with a long, elaborately curled beard and wearing a royal tiara adorned with a leaf motif. The king is draped in a beaded necklace and decorated torque, rendered in a detailed Hellenistic style characteristic of late Parthian royal portraiture. The hair falls in distinctive waved locks behind the ear. The field is plain, with no surrounding legend on the obverse.
