Obverse description Diademed bust of Mithridates IV facing left, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition, wearing a segmented beaded necklace terminating in a central medallion. The king's features are depicted with a short beard and flowing diadem ribbons behind the head. The bust is set within a border of pellets or a dotted circle, characteristic of Parthian drachm coinage of this period.
