Obverse description Diademed bust of Mithridates IV facing left, rendered with a short beard and wearing a double-banded diadem. A segmented necklet adorned with a central medallion pendant is visible at the neck. The portrait is executed in the Hellenistic artistic tradition characteristic of Parthian royal coinage. The field is enclosed by a neat circular border of pellets.
