Obverse description Crowned bust of Mihirakula facing right, with the ruler's name rendered in Brahmi script arranged around the effigy. To the left of the bust rises a filleted parasol, a symbol of royal sovereignty, while to the right stands a filleted trident, an emblem of divine authority. The portrait displays the characteristic Alchon style with a distinctive crown form. The Brahmi legend reading 'JAYATU MIHIRAKULA' ('Victory to Mihirakula') frames the royal image.
