| Obverse description | Diademed head of the deified Alexander III to right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with flowing, radiating hair secured by a diadem; the curling horn of Ammon emerges prominently above the ear, denoting divine status. The portrait is executed in high relief with naturalistic musculature and idealized facial features characteristic of the Lysimachean coinage series. A dotted border frames the coin's edge. |
