Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros seated left on a throne, his upper body nude, holding a long scepter in his left hand and extending his right hand to present an eagle perched with wings closed. A small lion forepart or control symbol appears in the left field below the eagle. The two-line Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right and ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ along the lower field identifies the issuing authority as King Lysimachus. The composition follows the standard Alexandrine reverse type adapted for Lysimachan royal coinage.
