Reverse description Zeus Aetophoros seated left on a backless throne, his upper body draped, holding an eagle perched on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. In the left field, a civic monogram appears above a forepart of a lion leaping left, serving as the mint control symbol for Lampsacus; a torch is positioned below the throne. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ is disposed to the right of the seated deity, reading 'of King Lysimachus', confirming the royal attribution of this posthumous Alexandrine-type issue.
