Reverse description Zeus Aetophoros enthroned left on a backless throne, his nude torso visible, holding an eagle with spread wings on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre in his left hand. In the left field, a forepart of a lion leaping left appears above a crescent, with a pentagram (five-pointed star) placed below the throne. The reverse legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, identifying this issue as struck in the name of Alexander III of Macedon.
