Reverse description Athena Nikephoros seated on a throne facing left, draped and helmeted, extending her right hand to hold a winged Nike and resting her left elbow upon a large round shield decorated with a gorgoneion. A spear leans against her left shoulder. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ is inscribed in the upper field and ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ in the lower field or exergue, identifying the issuing king. The composition follows the standard Lysimachean reverse type closely modeled on Alexandrine coinage traditions.
