Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left, his nude torso rendered in classical style, holding an eagle aloft in his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre in his left. In the left field, a lion head facing left is placed above a crescent, serving as the Kolophon mint control symbol. Below the throne's strut, a pentagram appears as an additional control mark. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, attributing the issue to the name of Alexander III.
