| Obverse description | Bearded effigy of Khusro II facing right, wearing an elaborate mural crown surmounted by a frontal crescent, two wings, and a star-in-crescent finial, with flowing ribbons and crescent ornaments at the shoulders. Stars flank the crown on either side within the inner field. The portrait is enclosed by a double border, with a marginal band containing star-in-crescent devices and an inscription in Inscriptional Pahlavi. A countermark depicting a head facing right is struck within a circular incuse on the obverse field. |
