Reverse description A fully open rose in profile occupies the central field, with a budding secondary rose stem to the right, the traditional emblem of Rhodes rendered with careful botanical detail. The magistrate's name XAΛINOΣ appears above the rose, while the ethnic abbreviation P-O flanks the stem. In the lower left field, a small cult statue of Helios stands as an additional reference to the island's patron deity. The entire design is contained within a shallow square incuse (plinthophoron), a hallmark of the late Rhodian drachm series.
