Obverse description Bust of King Kavadh II facing right, rendered in the stylized Sasanian tradition, adorned with earrings and a distinctive royal crown surmounted by a globe or korymbos with a crescent finial. Two stars are positioned in the upper field flanking the crown. The royal effigy is enclosed within a beaded or plain border, with Middle Persian legends appearing in the surrounding field identifying the monarch.

Reverse description A fire altar with decorative ribbons occupies the central field, flanked by two attendants or fire-priests standing in facing postures, each serving as guardian of the sacred flame in the Zoroastrian tradition. A crescent and star appear above the altar in the upper field. The reverse carries mint and regnal year inscriptions in Pahlavi script within the surrounding field, identifying the place of issue and year of production.
