He extends his outstretched right hand to support an eagle with open wings, while his left hand grasps a long sceptre. The Greek legend AΛEΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. A control mark Π appears below the throne, and a second control symbol — the letter B above a monogram — is placed in the upper left field, serving as mint or magistrate identifiers characteristic of the Kolophon series. |
