| Obverse description | Youthful head of Heracles facing right, depicted beardless and wearing the nemean lion skin headdress with knotted forepaws visible at the neck. The portrait is rendered in the classical Lysippan style, with finely engraved curling hair emerging beneath the scalp of the lion pelt. The musculature and contour of the face exhibit high-relief workmanship characteristic of posthumous Alexandrine coinage. The field is plain, with a border of dots visible at the coin's periphery. |
