Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low backless throne, his nude torso facing the viewer, a long sceptre held vertically in his raised left hand and an eagle with spread wings perched on his extended right hand. A lyre (chelys) appears in the left field as a subsidiary control symbol, and a monogram is placed beneath the throne. The reverse legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, identifying the coin as struck in the name of Alexander.
