| Obverse description | Head of Herakles in right profile, wearing the Nemean lion scalp headdress, the lion's mane rendered in flowing, naturalistic detail framing the face. The effigy displays fine die workmanship characteristic of the post-Alexander Carian series, with strong relief and well-modelled facial features. A beaded border encircles the entire design within the round flan. |
