| Obverse description | Facing radiate head of Helios, turned slightly to the right, rendered in high relief with finely modelled facial features and flowing curly hair from which the characteristic sun rays emanate symmetrically around the crown of the head. The treatment of the effigy is consistent with the Hellenistic artistic tradition of Rhodes, conveying both divine majesty and naturalistic detail. The broad, rounded flan provides an ample field that emphasises the centrally placed deity. |

| Reverse description | A rose blossom depicted in plan view occupies the central field, with five petals arranged around a prominent central boss, rendered in bold relief; the composition is encircled by a border of large pellets. The magistrate's name ΗΛΙΟΔΩΡΟΣ (Heliodoros) appears above the rose, while a thunderbolt symbol is placed in the lower field below the bloom. The rose is the civic emblem of Rhodes and a constant type on the island's coinage throughout the Hellenistic period. |
