| Obverse description | Laureate head of Artemis facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with hair drawn back and secured beneath a wreath of laurel leaves. Loose curling locks fall behind the ear onto the neck, with a single pendant earring visible at the lobe. The facial features are finely modeled with a straight nose and delicate profile. A bow and quiver are indicated over the shoulder, referencing the goddess's identity as divine huntress. The flan is slightly irregular, as typical of hand-struck Chersonesian silver coinage of this period. |
