| Obverse description | Celticized laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in the schematic La Tène artistic tradition derived from Macedonian prototypes. The voluminous laurel wreath is boldly stylized, with prominent leaf forms arranged in overlapping tiers across the crown. Wavy, flowing locks of hair curl beneath the wreath at the nape, reduced to schematic ribbons characteristic of Scordisci coinage. The facial features are strongly abstracted, with a pronounced brow and minimal detail. The entire design is enclosed within a border of raised pellets. |

Additional pellet ornaments are scattered in the field around the horse. The design is enclosed within a beaded border.
