| Obverse description | Laureate head of the emperor Claudius facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style with bold, somewhat stylized features. The portrait is encircled by a continuous Greek legend reading ΤΙ ΚΛΑΥΔΙΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ϹΕΒΑϹ ΓΕΡΜ, identifying the ruler as Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, characteristic of provincial hammered silver coinage of the mid-first century AD. |

| Reverse description | Two Curetes depicted facing one another in a dynamic, mirrored composition, their bodies leaning inward and touching at the center of the field, arms intertwined in a ritual posture. The figures are rendered nude or near-nude with flowing hair or crested helmets, evoking the mythological guardians of the infant Zeus associated with Cretan religious tradition. A dotted border encircles the design, framing the scene within the irregular hammered flan. The reverse is unlettered, relying entirely on the iconic imagery to convey its local cultic significance. |
