Reverse description A Zoroastrian fire altar with stepped base rendered in the centre of the field, flanked by two attendant figures standing in profile and facing inward, each wearing a crown or headdress. The central device is enclosed within a beaded inner border and a double linear outer border. Crescent-and-star or crescent ornaments appear at the cardinal points in the outer margin, with Pahlavi legends in the lateral fields indicating the regnal year and mint abbreviation.
