Obverse description Diademed and bearded bust of Autophradates IV facing right, rendered in high relief in the Parthian artistic tradition. The ruler wears an ornate helmet or tiara adorned with a crescent symbol above, a characteristic dynastic emblem of the Persis kings. The bust is draped, with detailed rendering of the garment visible at the truncation. The portrait exhibits strong, individualized facial features with a prominent nose and a well-defined beard, consistent with the local satrapal coinage style of the Persis kingdom.
