Reverse description A rose in full bloom with stem and bud to right, the city's heraldic badge, centrally positioned within a shallow square incuse (plinthophorion). The magistrate's name ΑΘΑΝΟΔΩΡΟΣ appears above the rose in Greek letters, while the ethnic ΡΟ flanks the stem. A spearhead symbol is placed to the lower left in the field, serving as a secondary control mark. The incuse square border is lightly defined, characteristic of the Rhodian plintophoric drachm series.
