Obverse description Head of the nymph Sinope facing left, rendered in fine archaic-to-classical style, with wavy hair swept back and gathered in a bun at the nape of the neck. The facial features are finely modelled with a strong profile, pronounced brow, and slightly parted lips. The hair is rendered in detailed parallel wavy lines across the crown. The whole design is set within a plain field bordered by a beaded (dotted) outer ring. No legend appears on the obverse.
