Reverse description Arsaces I depicted as an archer enthroned right, seated on an omphalos or throne, holding a bow in his right hand — the dynastic emblem of the Parthian kings. The six-line Greek legend surrounds the central device, with the mint designation MAPΓIANH (Margiana) appearing as the sixth line to the right, identifying the issuing mint at Antioch of Margiana.
