| Obverse description | Beardless male effigy in left-facing profile, depicting Arsaces I wearing a soft leather bashlyk (satrapal cap) with flaps falling behind the neck. The portrait is rendered in a Hellenistic style with fine detail to the facial features, including a well-defined jaw, prominent nose, and smooth cheek. The field is plain, and the design is contained within a circular border of pellets. |

| Reverse description | Beardless archer, clad in bashlyk and cloak, seated left or right on a backless throne, holding a strung bow in the left hand in the manner of the Parthian royal type. Beneath the seat appears the monogram ΜΤ on certain die varieties, while other specimens bear no monogram. The reverse field carries a single-word Greek inscription read centripetally (from outside inward) behind the archer, reading ΑΡΣΑΚΟΥ, and an Aramaic inscription below the bow. The design is enclosed within a circular border of pellets. |
