Reverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Classical style with delicate facial features and bound hair, enclosed within a linear square border set within a shallow incuse square. The ethnic legend ΑΒΔΗΡΙΤΕΩΝ is distributed in four segments around the linear square in the field. The incuse square is a hallmark of early Abderite coinage retained into the later series, framing the deity's portrait with geometric precision.
