| Obverse description | Draped bust of Aphrodite facing right, her hair elaborately dressed in wavy locks and drawn back into a bun secured at the nape of the neck. The goddess is depicted with fine Classical Greek workmanship, her features rendered with delicate detail including a graceful profile, well-defined eye, and softly modeled chin. The neck is truncated at the base. The field is smooth and unlettered. |
