| Obverse description | Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in high relief with characteristic full beard and detailed laurel wreath. The imperial effigy is portrayed in the Alexandrian tradition, displaying a robust and naturalistic portrait style. The circular Greek legend surrounding the bust reads ΑΥΤ Κ Τ ΑΙΛ ΑΔΡ ΑΝΤωΝΕΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹ, proclaiming his full titulature as Emperor Caesar Titus Aelius Hadrianus Antoninus Augustus Pius. The flan is irregular and somewhat misshapen at the edges, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze coinage of the period. The field shows a dark brown patina with areas of earthen deposits typical of Alexandrian bronzes. |

| Reverse description | Standing male figure, identified as Dionysus (or a Dionysiac deity), depicted full-length facing left in a dynamic pose with his weight shifted to one leg. He raises his right arm aloft holding a long thyrsus or vine branch laden with grape clusters, while his left arm extends downward holding an additional bunch of grapes. A serpent coils prominently to the right of the figure, a common Alexandrian religious motif. The date formula L ΔΕΚΑΤΟΥ (Year 10) appears in the field to the left of the figure, denoting the tenth regnal year of Antoninus Pius corresponding to 146-147 AD. The reverse is rendered in bold, high-relief sculptural style characteristic of Alexandrian drachm coinage. |
