Obverse description Diademed head of Antiochos I Soter facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with carefully engraved curling locks of hair bound by a royal diadem, the ends of which fall behind the neck. The portrait exhibits strong, youthful features with a prominent nose and well-defined jaw. A circular border of dots frames the design at the coin's periphery.

Reverse description Apollo seated left upon the omphalos, his nude body depicted in a graceful Hellenistic manner. He holds a bow in his extended right hand and rests his left hand upon the omphalos beneath him. A control monogram AI appears in the outer left field, and the letter K is placed in the exergue. The royal legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANTIOXOY flanks the central type, reading 'King Antiochos.'
