| Reverse description | Zoroastrian fire altar at center, flanked by two attendant figures standing facing inward, each holding a staff or barsom. The altar is depicted in the classic Sasanian manner with a stepped base and flames rising from the top. Marginal inscriptions in Pahlavi script appear in the outer legend band, recording the regnal year and mint name in accordance with late Sasanian administrative coinage practice. The entire design is enclosed within a double beaded border, with small crescents and pellets positioned at the cardinal points. |
