Obverse description Bust of Yazdigerd III facing right in Sasanian style, wearing a distinctive mural crown with wings and a korymbos (hair bundle) enclosed in a crescent atop the headgear. The royal effigy is rendered in the late Sasanian artistic tradition, with fine detailing on the facial features and regalia. Flanking the bust are two small crescents with pellets in the fields at left and right. The portrait is encircled by a beaded border, with a further ring of dots forming the inner boundary of the marginal zone.

Reverse description Zoroastrian fire altar at center, flanked by two attendant figures standing facing inward, each holding a staff or barsom. The altar is depicted in the classic Sasanian manner with a stepped base and flames rising from the top. Marginal inscriptions in Pahlavi script appear in the outer legend band, recording the regnal year and mint name in accordance with late Sasanian administrative coinage practice. The entire design is enclosed within a double beaded border, with small crescents and pellets positioned at the cardinal points.
