| Obverse description | Cow standing to right in profile, head turned back to left to regard a suckling calf positioned below; the naturalistic grouping is rendered with fine Hellenistic artistry. The magistrate's name ΑΛΚΑΙΟΣ appears in the field, serving as the obverse legend. In the exergue, a grape bunch on a vine tendril provides an additional decorative and civic emblem characteristic of Dyrrachian coinage. |

| Reverse description | A distinctive double stellate pattern composed of radiating lines terminating in pellets, enclosed within a double linear square border with pellets at the corners, a hallmark design type of the Dyrrachian drachm series. The civic abbreviation ΔYΡ (for Dyrrachion) appears in the lower exergual area, while the magistrate's name ΠΑΡΜΕΝΙΣΚΟΥ is distributed around the outside of the square frame. The geometric stellate motif, rendered in bold relief, lends the reverse a strongly ornamental character consistent with late Hellenistic provincial mint practice. |
