The scene is rendered in a naturalistic style characteristic of Illyrian coinage, conveying both agricultural and symbolic significance. | Reverse description | A double stellate pattern, composed of radiating lines and pellets arranged in two superimposed star-like configurations, is enclosed within a double linear square border with pellets at the corners, itself set within a further linear frame. The design creates a striking geometric composition typical of Dyrrachion drachm reverses. The ethnic ΔYΡ and the magistrate's name XAΛKIΔA are distributed around the border of the square in Greek characters, as visible on the coin. |
