Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low stool-throne, his body draped from the waist, holding an eagle perched on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field appears a head facing left wearing a Phrygian cap (a control symbol), and beneath the throne a monogram serving as a mint or magistrate's mark, consistent with the Sardis issue as catalogued in Price 2559.
