Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left, his muscular, semi-nude figure draped across the lower body, seated on a throne with a decorated leg visible at lower right. In his extended right hand he holds an eagle facing left, and in his left hand he holds a tall scepter. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs vertically along the right field. A monogram (NK ligature) appears in the left field, serving as a mint control mark associated with the Sardis mint. The composition reflects the canonical reverse type established for Alexander III's silver coinage.
