Reverse description Central fire altar flanked by two attendant figures standing in profile, each facing inward toward the altar in the traditional Zoroastrian devotional composition inherited from Sasanian coinage. The altar is depicted with stepped base and a flame rising from its top. The attendants wear typical Sasanian court dress with elaborate headdresses. Multiple concentric dotted and linear border rings enclose the central scene. The Pahlavi mint signature and regnal year appear in the margin, identifying the Bishapur mint.
