Obverse description Radiate head of Helios facing three-quarters to the right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with voluminous curling hair swept back from the forehead, the characteristic solar rays projecting prominently from behind the head. The facial features are finely modelled with full, slightly parted lips and a serene expression. The field is plain, and the flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with the hand-struck silver coinage of late Hellenistic Rhodes.

Reverse description A large, fully open rose blossom with five petals and a prominent central boss occupies the central field, rendered in fine relief with curving petal outlines and a budding stem and leaf visible below. The rose, the civic emblem of Rhodes, is enclosed within a plain inner border. The magistrate's name ΑΙΝΕΑΣ is inscribed in Greek letters in an arc above, and the civic ethnic Ρ Ο flanks the lower field to left and right respectively. The entire design is encircled by a beaded border.
