Obverse description Cow standing left, suckling a calf standing right beneath her; the magistrate name AIBATIOΣ inscribed in the upper field above the cow, with a grain ear in the exergue. The design is rendered in the bold, stylized manner characteristic of Apollonian civic coinage of the late Hellenistic period.

Reverse description The sacred fire of the Nymphaion depicted as a flame device, accompanied by a pedum (shepherd's crook), both enclosed within a linear rectangular frame. The magistrate name XAIPHNOΣ and the city ethnic AΠOΛ are inscribed around the frame in the field, identifying the issuing authority of Apollonia.
